Use and maintenance

•Check the preload of the bolts after 100 hours' work, then check it every 600 hours. In order to maintain enough preload, replace the bolts 7 years later or after 14000 hours' work.

•Carry out checking if there is noise, shock, or sharply increase of the power. dismounting maybe necessary sometimes.

•Regrease should be carried out every 100 hours' work for ball bearing and 50 hours' work for roller-bearings in normal usage. If the environment is dusty, wet, very hot, or humid, the more frequency must be achieved up to one week.

•Regrease is also required before and after a long period of non-working.

•In all cases, the raceway must be greased until a light leakage of grease appears at the seal lips. For well distributed, greasing shall be carried out at low rotation.

•Clear the flanks of the pinion and ring gear every 10 days and regrease them.

•The slewing bearings are slightly greased on the raceway with 2# extreme pressure lithium-base grease (GB7323-1994). Before usage, sufficiently regrease the slewing bearing with new grease. According to different application, the user can choose suitable grease. See the following table:

•Often check the seals and replace or change them once they are out of the grooves or damaged.
